You will need to remove the rear seat to gain access to the upper mounting nuts on the struts. You will also remove the lower mounting bolt holding the strut to the rear trailing arm. The best way to cover all steps it buy a Bentley Service Manual for 7-Series 1988-1994 from any book outlet. Amazon for example. I use this manual and it made my job very simple.
