In Reply to: 0 - 60mph 88 735i, how many seconds? posted by Francisco on November 04, 2000 at 15:43:33:

Your figure sound unbelievable. In europe we're blessed with (certainly in 1988/89) hardly any emissions kit and our 735's were 218 bhp compared to 182 in the US. The book and all contemporary tests state 9.1 secs to 60 mph for the auto and 8.? for the manual. My frient has an Aston Martin Vantage which is 500+ BHP and his makes 5.7 secs, your 735 is amazing !!!

I have a 735i CE (dont know what CE means)
88 with 245k miles on it,
i just wonder how long u guys take to
get to 60, i test my car twice today
with the timer in the obc, and i cant
believe that i get to 60m in
6.6 seconds the first test
6.5 seconds the second test
how long u guys take to get it.

thanks
Francisco
735i 88
