I've a similar problem, the hi pitch squeaky noise appears far away, there is no clue as to when it comes and goes. Appearantly when the rpm goes beyond 2,000.

I hear a hi pitch squeaky noise when driving. It comes
and goes. This is driving me crazy trying to figure
where it's coming from. I hear it when the car jerks
and sometimes I hear it when I hit a bump, not all the
time. Appreciate any help from anyone who has experienced this problem
and figured out where it's coming from.
