Can you switch driver and passenger seat? (archive)

I've looked through the archives and the Bentley manual for this... From the Bentley manual and the frames, it looks as though you may be able to swap the seats, frames while keeping the bases in place. My driver seat is showing wear in leather and support and I'd like to swap it with the passenger seat (cover, foam and springs).

Anyone have any ideas?
