Thanks for the replies. It is re-assuring (I guess). I am not sure about just putting higher octance in - I do not think the ticking is related to pinging. Also another post in this thread uses Super grade and still has the 'problem'.

The oil issue on the cam... can this be resolved??


E32's (6) are known to lose oil bar to cam, hence clicking.

v12's are notorious for noisy injectors, too.
