For about the first mile or two. It definitely wasn't valve tap, I set them with a Dial Indicator. It wasn't Injectors, they had a seperate noise. In fact, it sounded like a late 70's GM diesel. A little throaty, a little loud. I would really like to chat with someone else who has had this symptom.
