CD Changer Problem (archive)

Hello All,

I have been having trouble with the CD changer in my 1989 750iL (I load the magazine and it seems to index the disks but only shows err on the head unit). I opened the unit and found that there is a set of plastic rails that are supposed to work together but a small plastic nub has broken away. This causes the changer to cycle the magazine up and down but the disks are never loaded. Can parts be ordered for the changer or do I need to find a broken one (with a different fault) to canabalize.
