By reading postings and doing my own homework I have found out 750's are horribly expensive to maintain compared to the 735's. The engine is alot more basic and parts are way cheaper to replace WHEN something goes wrong(it maybe a minor problem but something will wear out), I purchased a 1992 735iL two months ago with the same specs as a 750iL and I am very pleased with it, and I don't for as much gas. When you do find the perfict 7er, make sure you get it checked by a BMW dealer(I purchased mine from a BMW dealer with a one year warranty) no matter what kind of condition you see it is in, it's whats under the hood and all the things you can't see thats the issue. If you live an hour or two away from the Bimmer dealer, then try find one for sale in that area, it'll payoff one way or another.

Rodzy,
Very pleased and proud of a 1992 735iL.

P.S, if you want to see how highly spec you can get a 735iL, look down a few (8 I think) postings till you see "specs" posted by me(it's the posting with about 15 replys).
