1. Remove the corner speaker
a. remove little screw from underneath
b. pry out speaker grill
c. remove screw which holds speaker to door
d. disconnect speaker wiring

2. Remove outside mirror
a. remove screw holding mirror to door
b. gently pull out mirror wiring and
disconnect

3. Remove wood trim
a. remove trim by sliding just slightly behind door handle
b. pull trim straight out

4. Remove exposed screws holding door panel to door
a. these you will see when wood trim removed

5. Remove door panel
a. pull straight out at the bottom and sides
b. plastic grabbers will release but the door will still be attached at the center.
c. make sure all grabbers have released
d. pry out door light and disconnect wiring
e. lift up strongly
f. the center retention device will slide out of its residence from an upward motion.
g. remove door latch cable

Door panel should be off at this time.

How do i take the drivers door-panel off of my 88 735i?
My window came off of its track,
it wont go down, but everything is moving inside door.
When i use the switch, the part that moves the window up or down is moving inside door and is holding the window up now.
