Mine needed a new switch under the center console. They can be disassembled and cleaned, but mine was fried. Dealer provides for $75-$100.

To ensure rest of system was okay, I jumped the connector at the transmission, installed for the manual but unused on the automatic, after testing one side is 12vdc; other is GND (connects to lights and mirror).
