Finaly my E32 is repared. The end of the cardan-ax was partilly broken. A specialiced company fixed it (new parts + welding) for only 300 dutch guilders. Thanks to them also! Now the car drives perfect again...

Hey ppls,

i have an 87' 735i (e32). When i have been driving for a while and usually accelerating faster than normal i get this problem. While accelerating from a stop there is a knocking and rattling sound coming from under the car where the centre console is with all the power window buttons. This only happens on occasions after driving for a while. It also makes this noise if i go over a big bump. Sometimes i drive around and there is no noise. So basicly the knocking sound is coming from somewhere at the end of the transmission or inside it. This only happens when accelerating then stops while driving at a certain speed.

i tryed to explain it as best i can....
