As much bother as it is to drain the tank & bleed the system when you're done, I would worry about overstressing the tee connection on the lower hose while swinging the tank far enough away to get access to the blower cavity. It's your call whether you have enough room to get in there. I've had to work in tighter places in past repairs. Try drilling out a broken exaust manifold stud in a '63 T-Bird without pulling the head!
