I have just installed a tranny chip in my car 88' 735i and I was wondering if I have to do anything special (ie...put it into sport mode). I noticed an improvement in later shift points, but it still seems to respond better in sport mode.

TIA

Ricky

The Sport Mode will hold the shift points longer to keep the power and torque up. With the transmission chip and in Sport Mode the shift points will be held even longer then stock. This with any engine chip will hold the power and torque in the sweet spot. I have a DINAN engine and transmission chip in my E32.
