All I know is that the CD-Rom is called 'BMW ETK CD-Rom' (ETK=Elektronic Teile Katalog, or electronic parts catalogue).
The one and only BMW dealer here seems to be slowly improving their service, I think the Chai Wan service centre has better service than the one in Ma Tau Wei.
Parts & labour for routine servicing seems to be ok, inspection 1 costs about $4k incl. parts & labour, and a wheel alignment check/correction costs $500. Our car so far gave us no problems and servicing is done once a year.
