Thanks Larry. Should I be using a special coolant? I think my father has been putting in green colored coolant, don't know the brand off hand. I suppose I will have him take it in to be flushed if this is wrong.

1. Check it cold 2.try to add some water and cycle a couple times i. e. get it to operating temp then let it cool down that should let you get a couple of readings 3. should be a drain at the bottom of radiator. that's about all the info i have till santa brings me my bentley manual
