You'll have to pull the tranny & replace the seal. The seal is located behind the torque converter. Not uncommon when switching to synthetic.

My auto tranmission in my '88 735i has started to leak oil, not at the pan, but forward near the inspection screen on the bellhousing. Anybody know what is causing for this? I'm using Redline D4 transmission oil.
