Heater Core Plugged. HELP (archive)

I've discovered that the reason that I have no heat on the passenger side of my 89 735il is because the right side heater core is plugged. I've tried to backflush it by disconnecting all the hosed but to no avail. I only get a trickle of water out the right hose. Is there another option or am I stuck with removing the heater core. Any easy ways to accomplish this?
