Have you tried any of the chemical coolant flushes to flush your whole cooling system. Most likely, if you have a heater core clogged, the radiator may need some attention too. I would flush both with at chemical and see if that works.

I've discovered that the reason that I have no heat on the passenger side of my 89 735il is because the right side heater core is plugged. I've tried to backflush it by disconnecting all the hosed but to no avail. I only get a trickle of water out the right hose. Is there another option or am I stuck with removing the heater core. Any easy ways to accomplish this?
