My '89 735 has water ingress into the trunk. When I remove the trunk rear trim panel (covers the rear lights there is much water, The trunk lid rubber seal looks great although it did contain water *inside* the hollow rubber itself (i separated it above the licence plate and drained it).

My suspect is the rear lamp cluster, but I'm not sure this is the problem so I would be VERY grateful for any pointers, known weak areas etc...please help, it's real damp in thereand its raining a lot in the UK at the moment....Paul
