CHeck you've got nothing blocking the "ventilation exits" that run along the sides of the trunk, just behind the wheel arches - elongated plastic boxes, but as you reach over to feel the side you can't see you should feel a solid-ish plastic/rubber flap. Idea is that if you have all the windows closed and the HVAC on fresh air then these let the air OUT as the fan brings new stuff IN; they lead to the underneath of the car. Flaps prevent fumes coming back in... but if they're not so hot they could be letting water/heavy undercar mist in...

PS your under car level-thingie at the front... can't see an equivalent on my 735. Maybe something for an aftermarket self-levelling system (boostable gas shocks?) or an alarm (tow sensor)?
