Got a mix of brands (Yokos, Falkens & "Ventus"??) on my 735 with 225/50/16s - seems to go OK 99% of the time - the other 1% could be start of thrust bushing age, I think (severe braking can unsettle things for 1-2kms afterwards).

Maybe th 60% aspect ratio on the 225 width makes the sidewall stiffness to contact patch/adhesion strength ratio too low??
