I have sorted what the pump thing is under my front right fender just in case anyone cares...

My car has factory option 511 "Automatic Headlight Adj" and this is what it is. It's a suspension movemement driven air pump. Goodness knows what senses whether the car is level and what stores the air pressure...anyone knowing anything about this system let me know. I'm tempted to adjust the lamps up so they're set OK most of the time and junk this system.
