I'm not in chicago but there is a front and rear muffler on the car (after the catalytic converter). I only had to replace my rear muffler. the price was $180 for the part and $50 installation at the local muffler shop.

The muffler is bad in my 735 and I took it to a muffler place today and they quoted me 1200 dollars for the repairs. That's high isn't it? Is there anyone in this area that can replace it for significantly less? It was the muffler and the pipe leading to the catalytic converter I believe. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
