My 1989 750iL has the shakes under certain conditions while accelerating under load. I idle OK, and when the car does not shake, all the power seems to be there. My first guess is that I have a vacuum leak. After I receive the full repair manual, I will be tearing into this one.

I have a 1990 BMW 750iL. The car shakes a lot at idle, it is not the spark plugs, dist. cap, or the rotor. It also feels underpowered when accelerating hard. Also when going up hills there is a constant viberation. What is causing this?
Also, when driving very slow (pulling out of a parking spot) the car seems to shake every harder.
