You need to put the car up on a lift so you can visually inspect the following. A clunk at 30mph could be anything. Exhaust sytem, driveline, CV joints, loose brake calipers. Hey, what ever happened to your front end situation. I assume you got it all fixed by now. What was it? Guy Simpson

I have a faint clunking noise in the rear of my 89 750IL it only makes the noise when your going slow like 30mph or below when I go faster the noise goes away. It kinda sounds like something is in the trunk rolling around or something but it's not cause I have nothing in the trunk. The rear shocks look fine and no leaks Anyone have any Ideas how to cure this noise? Thanks
