I have to note that the new hunter was the only balancer which completely eliminated wheel problems on several sets of my own and friends E32, E34 and E38 tires.

Also, certain brands are notorious for weight disturbances from the factory. My 1996 Goodyear Eagle Aquatreads were up 3.1 oz out of round! More recent goodyears seem to be better. My pirellis, dunlops and michelins have balanced up without difficulties.
