Where is the resistor, pray tell? It's getting hotter here in NZ and my radiator has an interesting mod from a previous owner - an oversize ATF cooler (12" x 6" x 1/2") mounted between the radiator back and the fan... extra air resistance seems to be affecting the aircon capacity as I can't get cooling until I'm doing 40mph+ (not revs related, tried changing down)... maybe this higher-speed fan running would do the trick. System is R134A but goes OK on cooler days.
