I've heard that they are both about the same to maintain. I have an 89 750 with 69,000 it still runs great have had the usual problems that most of these have. Power steering leak has been the main thing that anoyes me you have one leak and try to plug it another one starts. 750 and 735 have the same problem with the hydraulic system look out for that. Check all electrical stuff I know you will love the 750 I would go for the 735 but it just doesn't have as much power as the 750. Hope this helps a little!
