On an 8" wide wheel, I think a 35mm offset will be a problem, as it will put the wheel over an inch closer to the suspension (center of car)than the stock wheels on the 750. Assuming MIM and BBS (OEM on the 750) calculate offset the same way, the wheels will likely rub on the inside. I upgraded to 17X8 also, and mine have a 13mm offset, which puts them a quarter-inch closer to the inside, while most of the extra width vs oem is pushed to the outside, where the clearance to the fender is greater.

Hope this helps.

'91 750iL

Anyone know the quality of these rims? They are 17x8, with a bolt pattern of 5-120 and an offset of 35. Owner says they should fit a '92 750iL which I think have an offset of 20, and they have a machined lip and are one-piece cast aluminum.

Are they good quality?

Thank you,
Brian W.
