Since both the seat and the mirrors are linked to the memory seat, you seem to be looking in the right place, at least initially.....fuses ok? May one of the memory buttons is stuck "on" which is locking out adjustment from the controls? My bet it is somewhere in that electrical loop, so maybe start with the memory seat buttons.....

Sorry i can't help more, but it sounds like you are headed the right direction.

Ok first my Drivers seat went out completly and then both my mirrors. Not even the tilt down on passenger side. Nothing at all. No noise. zip. kupult , nothing. 88 735i. Don't have a clue where to start. Seat does have the 3 button memorey. Please help, would like to fix myself if possible cause just put in 2300.00 to put car in great running condition. Thanks, jjp
