Have you tried turning the key further than normal in the open (counter clockwise) direction. In cases of power lose, the key can be turned further than normal in order to open the doors. You'll have some resistance, but the door lock should come up. Hope this helps.

My 735i have been working great until a few days ago I couldn't open the door with my key any more. i tried both sides and didn't work. The anti-theft system was off. I can open the back trunk though. Is there any trick?
I planned to use the car for my relocation, so it sucks at this moment. Any suggestion would be really appreciated.
