A/C on my 89 E32 is just blowing air I have had my mechanic friend that works on BMWs replace the expansion valve and o-rings he has checked everything else and there are no leaks. A week ago the pasenger side would blow cold air and the drivers would blow just air. Now the whole system just blows air checked compressor and it's working I did notice that the belt is alittle loose on it though. Would a loose belt make the A/C not cool? Also heater valves are brand new (heater works perfectly). Anyone have any Ideas? would like to fix it ASAP

My a/c was not blowing cold. I changed the pollen filter £25-00 for a uk car it took a couple of hours but what a difference. It feels like an Artic gale now.Hope this helps. Good Luck
