Help! What is Fault Code #1247? (archive)

My 1993 750iL is misfiring, and the problem clearly is electrical in nature. I used the "check engine light" diagnostic procedure and received fault code #1247 from the DME for cylinders 1-6. This code is not contained in my list of fault codes. Does anyone out there know what code #1247 refers to?

I know the "1" refers to cylinders 1-6. I received code 2444 for cylinders 7-12, which means there is no fault on that side. Since the "no fault" code for 1-6 is 1444, I know the computer is trying to tell me about something that's wrong.
