Thanks George. It is always nice when other Bimmerfiles appreciate the car.

How do you like the H&R's with the 40 aspect ratio 18" tires? Is the ride OK? I've also
read that Bilstein sports are valved...lets say..."harsh" certainly firmer than the OEM Boge's.

The ride is firmer - I would certainly not call it harsh - but feels right to me.

Wondered if stock Boge shocks would work with
shorter travel to jounce of H & R lowering springs?
(Seems to me H & R's with Bilstein's with 40%
aspect ratio = harsh ride...is ride OK?
(You may have a higher pain theshold than me...
kidding...I know you get around the corners and
down the straights faster!)

Based on what I saw during install, I see no reason why the OEM shocks would not work with the H&R springs. I went to the Bilsteins for handling and I would be lying if I said there was no trade-off in comfort.

Thanks for the tip of using the H & R back
springs even with LAD...makes sense.

I love the LAD and would not dream of getting rid of it (can't understand those who do). I wanted a sportier ride, which I certainly got; however, the car will never be a track screamer.

Good luck and let me know how it turns out.
