Steve,
Don't swap out the LAD.
Many have considered deleting the LAD...there
is a website out there describing in good length
how to do it. I read sometime ago something written by a sage E-32 owner...if your rear shocks
leak, replace them and at the same time replace
the accumulators and enjoy another ten years/80 to
100K miles of one of the best rear suspensions out
there. My $0.02, purchase parts through Eurasian
or equivalent and either replace the stuff your-
self or find an independent that will work with
your parts.....don't even think about the stealer's part/labor prices.
Best Regards,
George
90 735il/144K with LAD/rear shocks replaced at
125K and new accumulators before spring.

Has anyone converted their lan system to a regular rear suspension? How hard was the conversion process? Are you happy with the results or is it better to keep the system in place and just pay the $ for replacing parts?
Thanks,
Steve
