I agree with George, do NOT convert to conventional. You more than likely pay more to convert than to fix the LAD (This used to not be the case). The labor to replace a leaking LAD shock is equivalent to a conventional unit, but you do not have to plug the hydraulic system, etc. which adds labor cost....hopefully you get the idea.

FIX THE LAD!


Has anyone converted their lan system to a regular rear suspension? How hard was the conversion process? Are you happy with the results or is it better to keep the system in place and just pay the $ for replacing parts?
