Depending on the destination country and year model, the 750 is speed limited to 155 mph. Since you left of the "L", I assume you do not have a US spec 750 so the 120 mph (or is it 122 or so) limited version does not apply to you.

BMW suggested the top speed was about 170mph (if not limited) for the 87/88 model(s). Probably higher for newer models that have had a boost in HP rating (but I do not know if BMW fiddled with the gearing in later models).

With all the above said, I am totaling going by memory here.

how fast can it go? has anyone tried? is 150mph limited? or is that just as fast it can go?
