The lights in the dash are an easy fix. Remove the SRS, steering wheel and the dash (motherboard) and the lights are readily accessible. Local BMW shop should have lights in stock. Not expensive. From previous I would replace ALL the lights that are on the board since you are in there. Will save a repair later. HTH

The dash ligths that indicate the "gear" (P,R,N,D,D1,ETC) and the driving mode (sports, manual, Econ) are gone. At night is becomes impossible to see. Also, part of the mileage indicator light is gone. Whats the problem? (fuse, battery, or bulbs) How do you fix it? How much am I look to pay to have this fixed by a mechanic?
