I'm not known for buying genuine BMW stuff, but in this case I did. It was about the same price I was quoted at other outlets. It was 41 which is about $70.

It's really worth replacing, it shrinks in the two corners under the back screen and allows water under it which flows around and into the trunk over the rear loading lip. It damages the trunk lid too as the water attempts to get into the lid under seals round the licence plate lamps.
