I have an 89 750. I figure it is time to give it an ignition tune up.
The car has 118k on it and the engine sounds like it is missing.
I went to the dealer to get the outrageously priced wire sets for the
car and to my surprise the passenger side wire set is 50% more
expensive than the drivers side.
I figured it was because the drivers side is the same as a 2.5 L
and the passenger side is special, so I ordered only the drivers
side. Much to my surprise the wire set I got looks completely
reversible. I can see no reason why I can not use it for the other
bank of cylinders.
Is there a difference in the wire sets or is it something silly like
the wires are actually marked 7 - 12 instead of 1 - 6 and that makes
the other set $410 instead of $270.
