I had the exact same problem. I just replaced my thermostat. It was broken in several place when it was removed. Thermostat cost ~$26 and remeber to get the O-Ring that is the gasket. You will need to remove fan and fan shroud(sp) to get to the thermostat housing.

Good luck

I recently started having a problem with my 750 "cooling off" operating temperature while driving at highway speeds.

The car warms up (albeit slowly, local temps in the teens and twenties) while driving stop and go through town. The oddity occurs when I get on the highway and get up to 70-75 mph. My temperature gauge just plumets from the dead center correct local to the Blue "cold engine" marks.

Can anyone provide any insight. I first thougth I might have a "stuck open" theromstat, but that wouldn't explain the normal temp ranges for in city driving, or would it?

Help
