Hi.

1) I've got to unwire my old alarm (2nd hand car, came with a UK "Scorpion" alarm but no remote, and Scorpion won't answer my emails so it's junk) so when I find out I'll post it for you.

2) Maybe your thermostat and/or a bleed the cooling system situation from what I've read of other posts... The M30 engine in the 735 E32 seems to have all the interesting bits (temp sensors, heater valves) very "high" (physically) in the cooling loop, so they can get bubbles and so act wonky... check the archives on "coolant" and/or "bleeding". My 735 (and most others I've heard about) usually stays at straight up or very close to that; usually gets there within 5 mins of round-town driving from cold.

3) Never heard the "BIG"/"small" OBC names before, but yes there are two types in the 735... I've got the earlier "small" OBC which has less functions (mainly no metric/imperial button is the one I miss) and no access to all the "lock code" stuff that all the OBC FAQs go on about. This small one was apparently what a lot of the 535i's (E34?) got. Later E32 OBC was the "big" one you could really fiddle around with more, but I tend to only use time/range/consumption in the main dash display anyway... check the OBC FAQs...

Hope this helps.

Max F.
