I had the unit rebuilt and bench tested. I was fine. I placed in the car and nothing. The idiot light was not working so I ran a jumper wire from a ingnition on wire and the alternator worked for a week (if you reved the car to 2200 to 2400 rpm's) Noe it is dead again. Any suggestions?


There are at least 2 parts to every equation. If you have proved the charging device to be functional the device being charged must then be disfunctional. ie, test you battery.
