I had just bought the car, as is, from a non-BMW dealer, so I went to the dealer for the part. I think it listed for $375 and they sold it for $317. I needed it to drive my new car after dark, so I went this route.

Try the link below, they say they have an improved LKM. I don't know what they charge and I have not dealt with them, but I have seen others recommend them. Let us know what you find out if you call them.

The one I just got has the number 61 35 8 351 297 on the box.

I've searched the archives, but I don't see the part number listed. I would appreciate anyone's help.
