Need Bentley info on Power Steering Pump. (archive)

Ok. I can now see that my leak on my power steering pump appears to be coming from a plug on the inboard side of the pump. The plug is about 3 cm round and has a cross shaped slot in it (I'm assuming is for tightening and loosening it.
Does anyone have any info from the bentley manual about this pump and these plugs. Do they thread in and out, mine doesnt seem to wanna budge. And, what are they for? Draining the system? There appears to be one plug on each side of the pump. Also, since I cant tighten them by had it seems, is there some other way to do this?
