you are definitively right regarding the guibos.
It was my ignorance. Here in Germany you will have to drive for weeks to find a 2002 or something as old.

The very strict vehicle inspection plus high road tax on cars without converters ( we only started with unleaded gas at about 86 ) high price of the substitute fuel for leaded high test gas weeds these cars out. If you go to one of the big BMW factory owned shops like in every big city you will hardly find an E32. The BMW used car center in Munich sells about 5000 cars a year. They don't have a single car. That applies to E30 as well.
