I still have a similar problem and I recommend purchasing NEW from the dealer or equal. I had a problem with the heat sticking on for the passenger during A/C mode, well I baught a used one (has to come from an '88) and the problem changed to heat sticks off for the passenger in the heat mode. The lesson I learned was don't buy this part used cuz 13 year old german electronics just don't work very well. Get a new one and advise us back it all works perfect.
