Door Locks in 750iL (archive)

I resently purchases my first BMW, an '89 750iL. I made the mistake of falling in love at the lot and buoght in wrong, but I still love it. Question: None of the door locks work I currently have to use the emergancy unlock on the passengers door, Lauderdale BMW said the accuators were broken and it would cost over $300 per door to replace them. Can anyone advise me of cheaper alternative?
