You can double check the dealer's analysis by taking a flashlight and, in the dark, shine the light at the display at various shallow angles with the car running. Your should be able to make out the correct display information if, indeed, the display is functional. Then it is just the bulbs that are gone. If you cannot make out any correct display info, the display is truly dead. Sometimes direct sunlight, at a shallow angle will produce the same results. The OBC display can obviously be checked against the display at the bottom, center of the instrument pod. I was able to do this with my '89 735i to determine that just the bulbs were out. This is the most common display failure. Dave

It will not work on 88's.
It's on good for 89-94 E32's.
The last recorded milage was around 76k. I'm selling it for the first $100. Junk Yards sell it for $350+ So it should sell fast. So let me know.
