Hi, David R, Shelvey

David F pretty much covered all bases but I thought I might add one procedure that helped make it a little easier removing and replacing the intakes. First you wont to remove the black sound insulating strips, they're held in by three ten millimeter bolts on top of intakes, this will give you a straight shot to the nuts with the long 1/4" extention he mentioned.

I had a little difficulty pulling those strips out the first time so I might suggest unbolting them and just letting them rest in place out ot the way so then when you finally remove the intake you just pick it up off the other intake where it rested. Also, this help alot, loosing all the 10(mm)nuts to the point where it will come off in one or two more turns.

Get your telliscopic(sp) magnetic retriver and finish turning them off with it and pull the nut out it will stay attached when withdrawing them. The problem I had was they would fall out of the socket. Again, when putting the intakes back on use the magnetic tool to get all the nut started, (they kept falling out) just a turn or two is enough then torque the rest of the way with your 1/4" extention. You will want the diameter end on magnet tool to match the nut or greater. My two cents.

Good luck
James
